Fleur, in Bloom

Fleur, in Bloom

Hi, it’s Esther —
and today I’d like to share the story behind Fleur, one of my most personal and quietly joyful collections.

Drawn to colour

I’ve always been drawn to colour.
Whenever I see something vibrant, I tend to walk toward it — instinctively. Colour makes me feel something. It lifts me. It stays with me.

Fleur began as a one-off piece I made just for myself. There was no plan — only a feeling.

Over the course of a year, I collected materials slowly. Beads that reminded me of petals. Soft, playful colours that made me smile. I pieced it together gradually, only when something felt right.

It was never rushed. And I think that’s what makes it special — it grew the way a real garden does.

How Fleur stayed

I brought Fleur along to my first FindersKeepers Design Market at ArtMaze in Copenhagen, May 2024 — just to see how it felt out in the world.

To my surprise (and quiet delight), it was met with so much love — even a few pre-orders.
And just like that, Fleur stayed.

Since then, it has bloomed into a small collection — Fleur, Verano, Primavera, Cherry Sunshine — each carrying the same garden-like spirit.

A garden you can carry

Fleur is my way of sharing a feeling —
like stepping into your own backyard on an ordinary day, with flowers in bloom and sunlight catching on leaves.

A wearable garden.
Playful, lighthearted, and made to carry a little sunshine with you.

Thank you for loving this little world with me 🌼

With love,
Esther
